Named African American Academy in 1990. [1] Opened as African American Academy @ Colman in 1991. Moved to Sharples in 1992. 1993-2000 moved to Magnolia School. September 2000 moved to new facility on Van Asselt site. [2] Closed in 2010 and taken over by Van Asselt. [3]
